Top 100 Emerging Engineers in India
SAN FRANCISCO/ MUMBAI, March 1, 2018 – Engineering talent in India is second to none. Success of Indian tech companies and Indian entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley is a testament to that.
As Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella become household names, Coseer has partnered with Hyrelabs to identify the top 100 engineers in India who are yet to get their fame.
In a multi-stage process the team looked at a series of evaluation criteria to filter a list of 500,000 resumes down to 100. The process began with broad evaluation of experience, education and functional area. Subsequent scrutiny focused on specific skills, coursework, projects and other contributions. In the last stage the team used social profiles, Github and other publicly available information to find the 100.
The process has been limited to engineers who are not freshers, but have recently graduated from engineering colleges.
The awards are also a demonstration of technology that is partly made in India. Coseer and Hyrelabs used cutting edge artificial intelligence for the nomination process, which was completely automated.
At the occasion of announcing these awards, Mohonish Mullick, incharge of recruiting efforts at Coseer, said, “It is very important to recognize the young technical minds that have a great future ahead. Such initiatives give them the confidence to take up any challenge and solve the leading problems of our times. We plan to honor 100 emerging engineers every year, starting in 2018.”
Rupam Gupta, a co-founder of Hyerlabs, added “Automated data driven and predictive approach to hiring is the key to eliminate human error and identify good candidates quickly.”
The team has already informed the nominees of their award, and will announce their names soon. Please keep following this page.
